1955043 - Pay And Preview Button Grayed out For Service Tax Return

While filling service tax return, system is not allowing to complete tax return. The Pay and Preview button is grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Payment Management work center.
2. Click on the Service / Excise Tax Returns subview in the Tax Returns view.
3. Select the All Tax Returns option in show field and click the Go button.
4. Select your desired Tax Return IDs and click on View button.
5. Service Tax Payment window will open and you can find that Pay and Preview button is grayed out.

Root cause of this issue is that your desired tax returns has completed status and the tax payments of the returns already in released status.

For already paid tax return the pay button will not be enabled.

Preview button will come only for tax returns that have form output.

For the service tax challan, there is no form output provided by SAP. That's the reason the preview button will not be enabled for Service Tax Challan return.

System behaviour is correct.
