Symptom

  • Data manager package run with status Abort.
  • Shortdump ASSERTION_FAILED occurs with following key words:
    "ASSERTION_FAILED"
    "SAPLUJN_API_BI_IOBJ" or "LUJN_API_BI_IOBJU22"
    "UJN_API_MD_WRITE2"
  • The shortdump stops at following source code:
              ASSIGN COMPONENT l_field OF STRUCTURE <ls_vw_md> TO <l_field>
    >>>>>ASSERT sy-subrc IS INITIAL.
  • Following message is found in the shortdump log in ST22:
    • RH 403 No hierarchy with object version & available in BW
    • UJA_EXCEPTION 111 Failed to insert master data of dimension &1 in BI (InfoObject: &2)
