1955591 - NAST: How to test with standard and troubleshoot print / smartform output issues in MM-PUR - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA.

IMPORTANT! This KBA is regarding NAST based output determination logic. Refer to SAP KBA 2608890 about same topic in case you use BRF+ (S/4hana output control) as output determination technic.

Various problems occur when you print/preview in Materials Management:

• Message output related issue in a purchase order.
• Short Dump MOVE_CAST_ERROR when clicking the Back button after previewing the Purchase Order Form.
• Purchase order is not printing with the correct header information. The billing/Delivery address defaults back to the Plant address and the Contact Person and Phone Number are blank.
• Purchase order status is always "Not yet sent".
• Blank expediter form sent to vendor.
• Item is showing incorrect page value in print preview or print preview is not working at all.
• You receive a termination in function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE
