1955784 - Error 'Expense arrangement not valid for this period; define validity' in Employee Replication Request

You try to replicate employees by uploading a XML file. After successful file upload, you see the error Expense arrangement not valid for this period; define validity in the log of employee replication request.

1. Go to the Master Data Replication work center.
2. Select the Employees view under Import.
3. Select the Failed/Not Started in the Show.
4. Select a failed replication request.
5. In the below Log Items tab, system shows the error Expense arrangement not valid for this period; define validity.

The error is caused by the late Complete Transmission Start Date in the General tab. You can see the Complete Transmission Start Date is set as such as 01.12.2103 and the earliest Validity From for the rows in the Organizational Assignment tab and the Employment tab is set as such as 01.01.2013. If all validity periods should be from 01.01.2013 to Unlimited, you should fill the field Replication Data Validity From in the uploaded XML file with 01.01.2013 and then you can leave all other validity periods empty.

1. Go to the Master Data Replication work center.
2. Select the Employees under Import.
3. Select the Failed/Not Started in the Show.
4. Select a failed replication request then the Edit button.
5. Select the General tab and check the Complete Transmission Start Date.
6. You may need to change the Complete Transmission Start Date so that it is not later than the earliest Valid From for the rows in Organizational Assignment and Employment.
