1956741 - How to create a LISTCUBE report including a display variant

LISTCUBE can be used to preview data in an InfoProvider. Among many options, the program allows to set the drilldown state and to pass a selection criteria as well.
This KBA explains how a so-called LISTCUBE report can be created in LISTCUBE transaction, which captures the settings for the InfoProvider data preview. There is also an option to save a display variable for this report, which allows to save the selection criteria entered.
This report then later can be called from SE38(optionally with a saved variant) to quickly call LISTCUBE against the InfoProvider(with the drilldown state, LISTCUBE settings and selection critera), for which it was created.
