Symptom

  • IQ can be stored in the column of encrypted data.
  • Encryption and decryption of data uses AES_ENCRYPT functions and AES_DECRYPT function.
  • However, data extraction facility of IQ cannot be converted numeric types of AES_DECRYPT:

Data exception - data type conversion is not possible.
