Symptom

The below functions of ASE are not supporting multibyte characters for LDAP URL.

  • LDAP User Authentication
  • Directory Service

Therefore, If you are using multibyte characters for OU(Organizational Units) or CN(Common Name) that refer to the above function of ASE on LDAP directory,
the configuration for LDAP User Authentication and Directory Service become an error.
