- Encryption status is not reported for Android 3.X and lower devices. However, Samsung APIs can encrypt an Android 2.3 device.
- This results in a situation where the device can be encrypted but it will not report that it is.
- In that circumstance, an Administrative Lock can be applied to the encrypted device, requiring a hard reset of the device.
