1958368 - Signal 11 in (LeScanOp::_LeOpShowBloomFilterInfo(char*) - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When viewing the plan for semi join using bloom filter, a signal 11 in (LeScanOp::_LeOpShowBloomFilterInfo(char*) routine may occur.
  • This will result in the client connection being terminated. At times, it is not possible to fully clean up after the terminating client connection which results in a warning and error 6103 following the signal 11.
  • In the ASE error log, the following messages appear where the address may vary depending on ASE version and platform along with the SQL causing the error:
