1958862 - Closing Relevant Task: Check Journal Entries For Employee Time Calendar

Symptom

You get a Closing Relevant Task with title being Check Journal Entries for Employee Time Calendar.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to work center General Ledger.
  2. Go to view Closing Cockpit.
  3. Go to sub-view Closing Relevant Tasks.
  4. You find the task Check Journal Entries for Employee Time Calendar.

Cause


For Example: ABC, PQR which were profit centers now you have changed these to cost centers. Hence system is notifying you that above changes are done and in few Time Calendar postings these org structures were posted has profit centers which are now cost centers.

Due to Organizational Structure Change system is advising to check the journal entries and the message does say to create adjusting journal entries if required.

Resolution

If the changes does require correction then, perform correction postings using the journal entry voucher, else you can follow the below steps to close such tasks.

  1. Go to work center General Ledger.
  2. Go to view Closing Cockpit.
  3. Go to sub-view Closing Relevant Tasks.
  4. You find the task Check Journal Entries for Employee Time Calendar.
  5. Click on Actions  and select Complete.
