Symptom

  • Unable to run the registry repair script for starting the failed Crystal Report RAS server in BI 4.0.
  • Registry repair script fails with the following error message:
  • Could not load program <BO_install>//sap_bobj//enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000/regsvr:
    Dependent module /sapbobj/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000_64/libBCM.so could not be loaded.
    The module has an invalid magic number.
  • Executing ldd command on "<BO_install>/sap_bobj//enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000/regsvr" shows dependency on <BO_Install>/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000_64/libBCM.so (64 bit file)
  • It should ideally be dependent on the following file: 
    "<BO_install>/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000/libBCM.so" (32 bit file)
