1959409 - Crystal Reports based on universe fail with error "Failed to open connection. xxxx.rpt" for non-admin users

Symptom

  • When viewing crystal report based on universe through BI Launchpad using non-admin user, recieve error "Failed to open connection. xxxx.rpt"
  • Log into the Crystal Reports designer using the same non-admin user and refresh the report, recieve the following error: "could not validate the query. You do not have the permission to view the SQL.(WIS 30916)"
