1959626 - How To Enable And Disable the Involved Parties for Activites

Symptom

You are looking for a configuration to enable or disable the Involved Parties for the activites.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select the respective project from the list.
  4. Click on the Open Activity List button.
  5. Select the Fine-Tune tab.
  6. Search and open the fine-tune activity Activities.
  7. Select the Maintain Involved Parties for the desired Activity hyperlink.
  8. Enable or disable the respective Party Roles.

Please note the 'Organizer' and 'Capture Owner' parties are mandatory by default and cannot be disabled as per C4C design.

However, if you still see Contact and Account details after creating, for example, a new Appointment, and you want to hide them, it is important that you avoid providing any account or contact details when creating it. If the activity is created with all the previously mentioned details, it will be displayed in the involved parties section according to the standard design.

Therefore, please omit any account details if you'd like to have only 'Attendee' displayed.
