Symptom
When an SUP client application uses X509 certificates to pass SSO credentials to an SAP web-service during a synchronization cache refresh, the SUP call to the web-service could fail with the following error:
Transport error: 401 Error: Unauthorized
The SUP server log should show the following entries.
- Using certificate alias supserver
- Using nonpreemptive basic authentication
- basic authentication scheme selected
