1961169 - Unable to use asterisk in table TNM04 - CO-Relevancy of Material Consumption

The documentation of customizing table TNM04 says:
"To reduce the maintenance effort involved here, you do not have to define every single combination in the rule table. With the exception of the institution, you can mask criteria (by entering an asterisk '*')."
But in reality it is not possible to use asterisk in fields material type, material group, and material. The system still checks the check table defined for the domain field and sends message 00 058 with the following details:

• Material type: Entry *   does not exist in T134 (check entry)
• Material group: Entry *   does not exist in T023 (check entry)
• Material: Entry *   does not exist in MARA (check entry)

There is no error message when you do the same with the organizational unit.
