1961720 - Cannot specify decimals values within prompts when using HTML viewing/editing mode for Web Intelligence reports 4.x

Symptom

  • Web Intelligence prompts containing decimal values with comma as a separator are converted to integers when using the HTML viewing mode in BI LaunchPad/CMC with certain locales (e.g. 0,25 or 25,45 become 25)
  • For product/viewing locales where comma is the default decimal separator (e.g. German or French) no decimal values can be specified in the HTML viewing/editing mode
  • Prompt selection in the report scheduling workflow is also affected as it uses the HTML viewing mode to display prompts
  • Prompts defined as list of values are not affected
  • English locale is not affected as the default decimal separator is a dot which is correctly recognized by the HTML viewing/editing mode for this locale
  • Java applet viewing/editing mode is not affected at all
