1962908 - Error message:Late fee Expense type must be Valid from 01.01.2009 to 31.12.9999

You are trying to Assign the Expense type Late fees  to Credit Card Settings in Fine-Tune Activity and receive an error message: Late fee Expense type must be valid from 01.01.2009 to 31.12.9999.

1. Go to Business configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects.
3. Select the project in question.
4. Go to Open Activity List.
5. Go to Fine Tune.
6. Find Credit Card Settings.
7. Select Open.
8. Select Define expense types for Late Fees.
9. Add Expense Type for Late Fees to the specified Country Version.

You then get the error message mentioned above.

The error message is shown because the Validity period of the Expense type Late fees is not maintained from 01.01.2009.

You have to maintain the Validity of Expense type Late fees which is shown in the error message.

 

1. Go to Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects.
3. Select the relevant Project.
4. Select Open Activity List.
5. Go to Fine-Tune.
6. Find Expense Reporting-Specified Country Version.
7. Go to Edit expense types.
8. For Expense types Late Fees maintain the valid date to 01.01.2009.
