1966721 - Socket write error when sending large amount of data for SOAP adapter

Symptom

When processing XI message via SOAP adapter, in the audit log and defaultTrace.trc, you find the following error:

Failed to call the endpoint: Error in call over HTTP: HTTP 0 null

SOAP: call failed: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer:socket write error

SOAP: error occured:com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.net.SocketException:Connection reset by peer: socket write error

MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error

Exception caught by adapter framework: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed,

due to:com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error

If you have collected the debug level ICM trace, you might find the log "*** Error => request too big" in dev_icm.
