1967443 - Webi report loses its data, formatting, structure, and the variables get corrupted when the data source is changed using the "Change Source Wizard" in BI4.1.

Symptom

  • A Webi report is created that is based on BICS connectivity to a BW BEx query.
  • The Webi report has many variables.
  • When the data source is attempted to be changed to an identical BW BEx query using the "Change Source Wizard", the data source is changed successfully, however, the variables become corrupted and there is no data displayed in the report table.
