1967847 - Is it Possible Search Materials Using GTIN Number?

Symptom

You have maintained GTIN numbers for Materials and you wants to search Materials using GTIN number in Materials screen.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product Data work center.
  2. Select Materials view.
  3. Edit a Material and maintain GTIN number in the tab UoM Characteristics.
  4. Save the Material.
  5. Now, go to Material view and select Advanced Search.

There is no field to search Materials using GTIN number.

Resolution

This feature is not available in the current release of Business ByDesign.

In the meantime, you may consider using the following workaround - This requirement can be achieved by using PSM/PDI solution. Please check with your implementation Partner for further details
