1968598 - Mass Data in Bex Queries: Options and Workarounds

Symptom

  • A query terminates with a memory related dump such as TSV_NEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED, STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET or SYSTEM_NO_ROLL.
  • You have determined that your current query design is consuming a lot of memory because too much data is read.
  • You get error messages related to the size of the result set in the frontend (reporting tool), for example in AO "Size limit of result set exceeded". 
  • You have analyzed (with KBAs 1879725 and 1967896) how much data your query is requesting and you are looking for a way to redesign your scenario.
