1969818 - How to disable Delete button from Sales Order or Service Request or Service Order Processing View.

You want to disable the Delete button for an user from Sales order or Service Request or Service Order Processing view.

1. Go to Sales Order  work centre.
2. Navigate to Sales Order view.
3. Select any Sales Order XXX in status In-Preparation.

you can see that Delete button is enabled.

1. Go to Service Order work centre.
2. Navigate to Service Order Processing view.
3. Select any Service Order XXX in status In-Preparation.

you can see that Delete button is enabled.

1. Go to Service Desk work centre.
2. Navigate to Service Request view.
3. Select any Service Request XXX in status Open.

you can see that Delete button is enabled.

 

The User is having unrestricted write access and this is the cause for Delete button enabled in frontend.

User have to restrict write access authorization to make Delete button disable from view page.

1. Go to Application And User Management work center.
2. Navigate to Business User View.
3. Choose User and select Edit -> Access Rights.
4. Go to Access Restrictions tab.
5. Select the Work Center View ID CRM_SALESORDERS
6. Change the Read Access to Unrestricted and change the Write Access to No Access.
7. Select the Work Center View ID CRM_SERVICEREQUESTS.
8. Change the Read Access to Unrestricted and change the Write Access to No Access.
9. Select the Work Center View ID CRM_SERVICEORDERPROCESSING.
10. Change the Read Access to Unrestricted and change the Write Access to No Access.
11. Save and Close.
