1971159 - After installating PATCH-10370 for SMP, only 3 nodes are able to connect to the CDB

Symptom

  1. SMP (SAP Mobile Platform) 2.3 SP 03 is installed
  2. SMP PATCH-10370 is applied to the data tier
  3. Attempting to start Application Tiers or connect with Sybase Central to the CDB (Cache Database) such that more than 3 machines are used results in an error:
    Could not connect to the database.
    Database server connection limit exceeded
    [Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Database server connection limit exceeded
    SQLCODE=-102
    SQLSTATE=08004
