1972981 - Input file of LOAD TABLE must be the same character set as that of the server - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • The LOAD TABLE statement allows efficient mass insertion into a database table from a file with ASCII or binary data.
  • However, if the collation sequence of the IQ server and character set of the input file is different, data is not inserted correctly.
  • Multibyte character that is inserted will be garbled.
