1973568 - Error: "Ignoring a response that's not from the RS"

Symptom

  • When starting the Relay Server Outbound Enabler(RSOE) you see the error "<OEHost> Ignoring a response that's not from the RS" and "<OEHost> possibly HTTP error returned, no packet seen in response.."
  • When attempting to browse to the http://localhost/ias_relay_server/client/rs_client.dll/ status page on the Relay Server (RS 12.0.1+) you get an HTTP 400 error with the message "Unable to attach to Relay Server state store".
