  • Process in 'latch sleep'.
  • Unable to kill the process. 
  • While running DBCC CHECKSTORAGE, Error 835 is raised which is leaving a latch behind:

Error: 835, Severity: 21, State: 3

Error: 9970, Severity: 20, State: 1
DBCC cannot update the finish time in dbcc_operation_log table for this operation(opid = '678') of database 'XXXXXXX'. This can be patched by executing sp_dbcc_patch_finishtime.
