1974558 - Java Application server is not accessible because Java HTTP port is not available

Symptom

  • Unable to open any Java application like NWA, startpage, portal (/irj).

cannot display the webpage.PNG

  • When running netstat to test the java port, the port is not at a listening status:
    <host>:<SID>adm > netstat -an | grep 50000
    0 ::ffff:10.xxx.x.xxx:50000   ::ffff:xx.xxx.x.xx:26375    CLOSE_WAIT
     
  • In httpwatch trace, following network error output:
    ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED
