1976449 - How to configure trust between the SAP Netweaver AS JAVA 7.1 or higher to SAP Netweaver AS JAVA 7.0x

Symptom

You want to achieve trust between two or more AS Java (i.e. Portal):

  • When you log onto the AS Java A and then in another browser tab you open AS Java B and the login screen appears;
     
  • Or the other way around, when it logs in the AS Java B and then in another browser tab you open AS Java A and the login page appears.

It is important to mention that the trust to SAP AS Java system can be unidirectional (A to B or B to A), or bidirectional (A to B and B to A). The Federated Portal is an example where is mandatory the bidirectional trust.
