1977103 - When profiling a SQL Anywhere database with request logging and sa_get_request_times, sa_get_request_profile, or tracetime.pl, the number of statement executions reported may be incorrect

Symptom

  • When using request logging to gather an activity log on a database, the sa_get_request_profile() and sa_get_request_times() system procedures and the Perl script 'tracetime.pl' can be used to analyze and summarize the output of the request logging (dbsrv16 -zo).
  • In certain situations, the analysis summary reflects a lower number of statements executed (i.e. "uses" column in the temporary table satmp_request_profile, or the "Executions" value in the tracetime.pl output) than what the client is expecting to have been analyzed at the database server.
