1977944 - alter table on primary ASE causes DSI down due to message 13900 on SAP RS

Symptom

  • When executed ALTER TABLE on primary database, then DSI thread for secondary database went down due to message 13900.
  • Warm standy or database replicate configured for ASE to ASE replication.
  • The error message in RS's errorlog may look like:

H. nnnn/nn/nn nn:nn:nn. THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(182(1) ASENAME.DBNAME) - dsiqmint.c(4305) The DSI thread for database 'ASENAME.DBNAME' is being shutdown. DSI received data server error #13900 which is mapped to STOP_REPLICATION. See logged data server errors for more information. The data server error was caused by output command #n mapped from input command #n of the failed transaction.
