1980147 - Book Trip Button is not Visible for Travelers Based on the US Region

Symptom

You find that Book Trip option is not displayed in Travel & Expense screen however you have configured your system to enable US based traveler to use GetThere online booking tool to book trips.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the relevant project and open the project's scope.
  3. Navigate to Questions.
  4. Under the Trip Planning open the question Itinerary Tool for Organizing trip for Country Version: US.
  5. You will find that GetThere is selected.
  6. Now Go to the Travel & Expense work center.
  7. You are not able to see Book Trip option.

Cause

One of the possible reason for the missing option Book Trip is an incomplete configuration for country US and GetThere.
In such case, you can verify the Fine-Tune activity GetThere - US (Online Booking Tool) and check if SITE and SUBSITE for GetThere are available or not.

Resolution

In case SITE or SUBSITE is missing, you can maintain the same through the steps below.

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the relevant project and open Fine-Tune tab.
  3. Find the activity Access Details for GetThere - US (Online Booking Tool).
  4. Maintain the SITE and SUBSITE.
