1980553 - No Input Products Displayed in Production Request.

A Production Request has ben created but unable to see any Requested Input Products in the created Production Request XXX (XXX represents the Production Request ID).

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Navigate to Production Request view.
3. Edit the Production Request XXX.
4. Navigate to Production Segments page.
5. Navigate to Details sub-view.
6. Choose Input Products tab.

Notice that the requested input products is empty.

Since the Explosion Date of your Production Request XXX is prior to the Input Materials Valid From Date of your Production Bill of Materials (BoM): XYZ (XYZ represents the BoM ID), the system does not show these Input Materials.

Example :

The Explosion date in the Production Request XXX is 28.12.YYYY.

There is a Production BoM: XYZ with Input Products Valid From 01.01.YYYY.

Since the Explosion Date of the Production Request XXX is on 28.12.YYYY when compared to the Input Materials Valid From 01.01.2018 of your Production BoM: XYZ, the system does not consider these Input Materials.

This is the standard system behavior and the system is working as designed.
