1981124 - SAP SQL Anywhere database engine or SAP IQ shuts down when a proxy table to Oracle is recreated

Symptom

  • ISQL Error Error! The connection to the database was closed by the server. Communication error SQLCODE=-85, ODBC 3 State="08S01"
  • SAP SQL Anywhere database engine shuts down and no mini_dump file is generated 
  • No error message is written in SAP SQL Anywhere log file
  • SAP IQ is also affected. Sql Anwyhere engine is used by SAP IQ to manage its catalog database.
