1981437 - OpenPS Error: Cost Element '&' does not exist

Symptom

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

  • User attempts to upload a cost activity from Microsoft Project to SAP Project Systems using Open PS for Microsoft Project (OpenPS4MSP).
  • An error message "Cost Element '&' does not exist" is received, and the cost activity fails to upload.
