1981439 - iqdemo database cannot insert a multibyte characters - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • When you create an iqdemo database using the default settings, the database can not handle multibyte characters.
  • IQ client is unable to SELECT the multibyte characters, which is inserted into iqdemo database.
  • Multibyte characters are garbled.
