1981948 - BI 4.0 - CMS does not start

Symptom

  • One Central Management Server (CMS) does not startup within a cluster
  • Attempt to startup the service from Central Management Server (considering another CMS is available), the CMS goes into failed status immediately
  • Checking the properties of the server, an error is displayed "the server failed 5 times in less than 60 minutes"
  • After extracting the CMS command-line from Query Builder (QB) with the command below and running the CMS manually, an error is displayed:
    • In QB: SELECT SI_NAME, SI_CURRENT_COMMAND_LINE FROM CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS WHERE SI_PARENTID=16
    • From the sap_bobj folder, source <installDir>/setup/env.sh (. ./setup/env.s)
    • Run the CMS manually

"boe_cmsd: error while loading share libraries libnameserverw.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
