1982090 - SCC Unable to Register SMTP Address in Email Setup

Symptom

  • On attempt to configure email notification via SAP SCC generates error:

  • From Agent Log in RS:

[ERROR] [alert.AlertService] [scc-ui-7] - smtprelay.xxx.com Connection attempt with smtprelay.xxx.com. SMTP Server failed. Please ensure that the SMTP server is up and running.
[ERROR] [alert.AlertService] [scc-ui-12] - Connection attempt with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx SMTP Server failed. Please ensure that the SMTP server is up and running.

  • From gateway.log:
