1982241 - Tomcat does not start in BI 4.1

Symptom

  • After upgrading Web Tier or BI 4.1, Tomcat does not start and fails immediately when trying to start it.
  • Windows Event viewer shows error: "The Apache Tomcat for BI 4 service terminated with service-specific error. The operation completed successfully."
  • Tomcat's stderr.log shows following errors: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/catclina/startup/bootstrap failed.
