1982675 - Price Component Cost not available in Sales Order/Service Order.

You are unable to see Price Component Cost in your Sales Order and your Service Order.

When checked the Price Component Cost does not appear under fine tuning activity Configure Price Strategy.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Order work center.
2. Select New Sales Order view.
3. Provide all mandatory details and choose View All.
4. Navigate to page Items.
5. Choose Add Row.
6. Provide Product ID, Quantity and List Price.
7. Navigate to page Pricing and Invoicing.
8. Select sub-page Pricing.
9. Navigate to view Item Pricing and expand the Line Item.

 You see that Price Component Cost is not visible in this Sales Order.

1. Go to Service Order work center.
2. Select Service Order Processing view.
3. Provide all mandatory details and choose View all.
4. Navigate to Page Service and Spare parts.
5. Choose Add Row.
6. Provide Product ID, Quantity and List Price.
7. Navigate to page Pricing and Invoicing.
8. Select sub-page Pricing.
9. Navigate to view Item Pricing and expand the Line Item.

You see that Price Component Cost is not visible in this Service Order.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the relevant project.
4. Select Activity List
5. Go to the Fine tune phase.
6. Select and open the fine tuning activity Configure Price Strategy.
7. Select Configure Pricing Procedure.
8. You see that Price Component Cost is not visible as an option under this fine tuning activity.

You see that Price Component Cost does not appear under fine tuning activity Configure Price Strategy.

You have not checked the pre-requisite question Do you calculate profit margins for service or sales orders and make them visible to your sales employees? .

Resulting in the following behaviour of the system.

• The calculation and display of profit margin in sales and service documents is not activated. 
• The display of price component cost in sales and service documents is not activated.

Follow below steps to activate Profit margin calculation and display of price component Cost in your sales/service documents.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Show All Projects.
4. Select the relevant project.
5. Edit the Project Scope.
6. Navigate to fourth step Questions.
7. Go to General Business Data and select the Product and Service Pricing.
8. Select Yes for the question Calculation of Profit Margin in Sales Price Specifications.
9. Select Next button
10. Finish the Implemantation to Save your changes.
