1982849 - Portal Role upload: error when uploading BW roles containing workbooks

BW roles cannot be uploaded to the portal via ABAP role upload. The BW roles contains workbooks. During the upload process one of the following error message appears in the default trace:

• "Existing object portal_content/com.sap.portal.migrated/SAPComponentSystems/iviews/<Logical System Name>/sap_tx/RRMX_7CPLABREGI68S4BH4CYEUNXNY uploaded with different types (com.sapportals.portal.iview and workset)"
• "Existing object portal_content/com.sap.portal.migrated/SAPComponentSystems/iviews/<Logical System Name>/sap_tx/RRMX_49N69W707BOV5HRDHVFF83UG3 uploaded with different types (com.sapportals.portal.iview and role)"

where <Logical System Name> is the logical system name of the BW backend system where you upload the role from. In addition, a Warning sign appears in role content in the portal:

If the role in PFCG is without workbooks the role upload finishes successfully.
