1983115 - Procedures, triggers, and views that depend on an object whose name has been changed using sp_rename do not require drop/recreate or recompile - SAP ASE

In the Adaptive Server Enterprise 15.x Reference Manuals under Chapter Procedures  --> System Procedures, there is a warning message that states the following regarding the sp_rename stored procedure :

WARNING! Procedures, triggers, and views that depend on an object whose name has been changed will no longer work. Change the definitions of any dependent objects before you execute sp_rename. Find dependent objects with sp_depends.

This used to be the case for version 12.5.x, but is no longer the case in version 15.x. Hence, the manual needs updated.
