1985009 - Purchase Accounts for Procured Stock/Inventories

• In countries such as Italy, France, and Spain, it is a legal requirement to document the costs of procured stock material as well as any variations in purchased stock at any point during the fiscal year.
• However, the Purchase Account tab under the Inventories subledger is not visible in the Account Determination Profile ABC for the specified Chart of Accounts.
• Note: ABC refers to the Account Determination Profile

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the relevant Project and choose Open Activity List.
4. Select the Fine-Tune phase.
5. Choose the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination list.
6. Navigate to sub-view Account Determination and select Inventories.
7. Select the Account Determination Profile ABC.

The Purchase Account tab is not available.

Since the "Assign Countries to Profile" step has not been maintained for Account Determination Profile ABC within the relevant Chart of Accounts, the Purchase Account tab is therefore not available.

Follow below steps to maintain Assign countries to profile against the Account Determination Profile ABC.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work centre.
2. Navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the relevant Project and choose Open Activity List.
4. Select the Fine-Tune phase.
5. Choose the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination list.
6. Navigate to sub-view Account determination and select Inventories.
7. Select the Account Determination Profile ABC.
8. Choose Assign Countries to Profile.
9. Choose Add Row.
10. Maintain either France or Italy or Spain against Account Determination Profile DEF ('DEF' refers to the Account Determination Profile).
11. Choose Ok.
12. Choose Save and Close.

The Purchase Account tab is now available.
