1985181 - How to disable IPv6 on Windows SYSAM license server host - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Both IPV4 and IPV6 are enabled on a Windows license server host.
  • SYSAM is configured to use IPV6 stack binaries using the following command

    sysam configure IPv6

  • The SYSAM server starts successfully, but running sysam status or LMTOOLS' "Perform Status Inquiry" resulta an error:

    lmgrd is not running: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570)
