1986549 - SMP 2.3 Backup & Restore problem when trying to recover the security configuration

Symptom

Backup & Restore problem when trying to recover the security configuration in the following way.

  1. I am taking a backup of one of my Servers having  SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) 2.3 installed on it & trying to restore in the same server after making changes so as to test the restore.
  2. I stopped the services, copied the files to a particular location. After that I made certain changes in SAP Control Center (SCC).
  3. I again took the backup & deleted the required changes. Then I replaced the data & log files with the backed up files.
    => But still the changes are not getting reflected.
