1987096 - Transfer of an Employee is always determined to the 1st of next month

An employee was transferred to a new job position. This transfer however was determined to a specific date. After stating this, customer again tried to transfer the respective employee and again the transfer was saved determined to a specific date.

Question:

Why was the transfer determinable, although nothing has been requested in that direction?

 

1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center.
2. Go to the Regular Tasks view.
3. Use the task Transfer Employee.

When you select Transfer Employee, Transfer Date determined is always the 1st of next month which is the expected system behavior.

For Example, if you select any Employee in Transfer Employee screen now then the Transfer Date should be the 1st of the next coming month.

Furthermore, the Transfer Date is editable date in Transfer Employee screen and system always determine the date as above.
