1987945 - Widgets and QaaWS throw a timeout error if Web Intelligence query takes over 60 seconds to run: GetDocumentInformation exception (Error: WRE 99999)

Symptom

  • When running Widget based on Webi report that is set to refresh against database and the execution takes longer then 60 seconds, the following error occurs:
    • GetDocumentInformation exception (Error: WRE 99999)
    • The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:01:00. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.
  • Increasing the DSWS (Web Services) timeout and the Application Server timeout does not correct the problem
  • Issue appears to affect QaaWS as well
