1989127 - Messages sent to devices via SMTP are not reaching their target when using a local SMTP server to route to a remote SMTP server.

Symptom

Messages sent to devices via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) are not reaching their target when using a local SMTP server to route to a remote SMTP server.  Additionally, there are files stuck in the C:\inetpub\mailroot\Queue folder on the local SMTP server.

  • Microsoft SMTP Server local to the Afaria Server machine
  • Remote SMTP server to which the local one is relaying all mail
