1989428 - Maximum Amounts Setting in Expense Type Taxi for Country Spain Not Take Effect

Symptom

You set Maximum Amounts constraint in expense type Taxi in country version Spain to let system show warning message if an employee claims more than 50 EUR on this expense type. But you find this constraint does not take effect when the Spanish employee enters a Taxi expense with more than 50 EUR and system does not show any warning message for this expense item.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the Overview view.
  3. Find the Expense Reporting - Spain fine-tune activity and select the Change Immediately button.
  4. Select the Edit expense types link.
  5. Select the expense type TXI - Taxi. In the below Maximum Amounts tab you add a row to define Maximum Amount and Condition.

Resolution

In fine-tune activity Expense Reporting - Spain, in order to make Maximum Amounts setting working for expense type Taxi, you have to set the value in column Trip Type to Business Trip:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the Overview view.
  3. Find the Expense Reporting - Spain fine-tune activity and select the Change Immediately button.
  4. Select the Edit expense types link.
  5. Select the expense type TXI - Taxi. In the below Maximum Amounts tab, select Business Trip in Trip Type.
  6. Save the change.
