1989884 - DBPROC_SQL_ERROR / Error 258 while executing database procedure

Symptom

When calling SAP transactions in Suite on HANA systems, the following error occurs:

Runtime Errors DBPROC_SQL_ERROR

Except. CX_SY_DB_PROCEDURE_SQL_ERROR

...

Error 258 has occurred while executing database procedure

""_SYS_BIC"."<procedure name>"" on the

current database connection "R/3".

Database error text: insufficient privilege: Not authorized

Triggering statement: "dsql_exec_proc"

...

The corresponding developer trace file (dev_w<xx>) logs the following error:
