1990706 - How to capture an HTTP trace using Google Chrome or MS Edge (Chromium)

Symptom

There is a performance, functionality or rendering issue on the client side when using SAP BTP, Web UI, Portal, Fiori and/or a web-based application.

For that reason, there is a need to monitor or collect HTTP/HTTPS requests and responses sent between the browser and server of a web application, for example the SAP Enterprise Portal.

Note: HAR files contain sensitive data, including user and password details.

IMPORTANT: Since Chromium release 130, the option "Allow to generate HAR (with sensitive data)" must be selected for cookies to be present in the collected trace, as outlined in item 6.4 below. If the trace is provided without them, analysis of any issue that depends on cookies is not possible to be conducted.
